COMMUNITY LEARNING | Monster Smash-ing tennis event

During the morning of Monday 23 October, Regent College partnered with tennis coaches from the Florence Tennis & Bowling Club to host an LTA ‘Monster Smash' tennis event.

Getting into the spirit of Halloween, SEND schools from across the region were invited to take part. The aim of the event was to develop social and functional skills, have an introduction to tennis or practice an existing hobby, and most importantly, have a monstrous amount of fun whilst getting active!

The event was organised by tutor Alan Baxter who said:

"I would like to thank everyone who attended, including learners from Bluebell and Rugeley Special schools, and supported this event which was a huge success." "Our learners once again benefited from this wonderful community learning experience. We are looking forward to enhancing the Florence-Regent College-LTA and other colleges links for many years to come!"
