EVENT | Supporting learners on their path to adulthood

Regent College Transition Day 2023

Every year our colleagues organise an event to support learners and their families to plan for what happens when they finish college. We want the transition from education to be a positive experience for everyone, ensuring our learners can continue to become productive members of their communities, lead full and happy lives, and unlock their full potential.

The annual event brings together local day activity centres, social care providers, employers, charities, sports groups, and more. It is designed to empower people to access support as our learners continue to develop their identity as an adult and take control of their increased independence. We thank our hosts, Port Vale Football Club, who welcomed everyone to the venue on Wednesday 6 December 2023. We also thank the local schools who attended alongside our Regent College learners and their relatives. They had the chance to meet our partners including:
  • Landau Training & Enterprise Centre
  • Kidsgrove Care Solutions
  • Sherratts Wood
  • National Care Group
  • Links & Networks Day Services, a part of National Care Group
  • Trinity Skills for Life
  • Mencap
  • Futures2gether
  • Helping Angels
  • Frontline Dance
  • Stoke-on-Trent College
  • Pinc College
