FUNDRAISING | Julia & Andy's race for a local hospice

On Sunday 17 September, two Regent College colleagues, Julia Bossons and Andy Hall, cycled the 177.92 kilometres between Stoke on Trent to Llangollen in Wales.

Their mission was to raise funds for the Dougie Mac Hospice who provides hospice services free of charge to adults, young adults, and children living with a life-limiting illness in Stoke-on-Trent.
The start line
They both trained hard and proudly completed the ride. The journey took them on an adventure through Staffordshire, through Baldwins Gate and Woore to Whitchurch, continuing west via Ellesmere before crossing the border into Wales and arriving in Llangollen. Then their return through Nantwich took in the beautiful countryside of Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire.

All at Regent College are hugely proud of their incredible achievement. Their total ‘road time’ was just over 7 hours and their total money raised stands at a brilliant £400!
