NEWS | LEARNERS' TRANSITION DAY 2022

Regent College Transition Day 2022

On Thursday 1 December we held our Transition Day 2022 at Port Vale Football Club. The purpose of the annual event is to support our Learners as they approach the next phase of their education or in their transition to employment.   We know the change can trigger excitement, anticipation, and anxiety for both our Learners and their parents, so at Regent College we want to help ensure the most positive experience possible. We organised for over 20 local employers, support providers, and further education partners to have promotional stands in our exhibition space at the football club, all presenting opportunities for our Learners to grow and develop. The partners included Landau Training & Enterprise Centre, The Stoke Community Trust, and National Care Group's very own Links & Networks Day Services, part of our Shelton Care Group.

Our visitors were all invited to enjoy some delicious refreshments including some personalised treats.

The day got an all-round cheer of approval from our Learners and Team of Colleagues:
